I see so much talking about macro miners but nothing being done. CCP... yes, you, how about some action on your part. Instead of just talking about how they are bad for the market and having a laugh at this discussion, how about banning some isk farmers and telling us about it in the game news so we know you are doing your job. Macro mining sure sounds like a game exploit to me and should be delt with just as seriously as you delt with the POS station tech2 parts exploit. I've heard a lot of rumors about CCP not listening to there player base unless a large amount of players speak up but this is just sad. This has been a problem for years and its not going away on its own. This is not a dead subject that players are willing to forget. I just brought up this topic in the trade channel today and there was not a shortage of players that were fast to express there dissatisfaction (grossly understated) that macro miners were allowed to damage the base market for everything in the game. Did you hit on that CCP? I said ALLOWED because that is exactly what it is if there is no action to stop it. This is a problem that affects all of eve and I don't understand why nothing is being done. Do you want a plea from your players, well here it is, Please CCP for all that is eve, stop the exploiting that is macro mining. You want a discussion for a Dev blog audio show, how about telling us what you are doing to stop this. We don't want to hear what you plan on doing, there has been plenty of time for that, what are you actually doing now?
please don't respond with "we don't know who is mining for real and who is macro" because it is not true. If you see 1 hauler and 5 hulks in a belt mining normal kernite and leave the luminous/fiery untouched, well duh duh, "I think I saw a putiecat" as tweedy bird would say. Seriously CCP, if you have trouble finding macro miners, ask the real miners, we can point you straight to them. Please don't tell us to report isk farmers in a petition and respond with a cut and past slap in the face (we will look into it) either. I can understand not responding to all the petitions do to the shier volume but this forum is a single spot to tell us whats going on. you only have to type it once and we all see it.
Could a CCP employee actually respond to this, this is not hate mail, its a plea for some action. please please please, for all the players to hear, let us know what you are doing to solve this problem. would be a good idea to make your response a sticky so its never lost. Please give some detail. |
